Born in Denmark 1958, in private practice since 1988. After graduating as a psychotherapist and group facilitator, I was faculty member at The Institute of Psychosynthesis in London between 1990-96, have offered workshops for women since 1993 and in 1996, co-founded The Centre For Gender Psychology. The umbrella organization, Creative Couple Work, was founded in 2000 to offer specialist, post-graduate diploma training in Relationship Therapy & Coaching.

Helena offers specialist training and supervision for professionals in the field of relationships, sex and gender relations in UK, Europe, Scandinavia, Russia and Mexico. Amongst the first qualified sexual grounding therapists®, I am a senior trainer and was appointed Head of Education SGT International in May 2013.

A senior psychotherapist, teacher and trainer of other professionals, my unique approach evolved over many years out of my own personal development work and professional training with leading teachers from around the world, spanning the fields of: Psychoanalysis, Depth Psychology, Family Therapy & Systems Theory, Body- Psychotherapy, Integral approaches, Sexual Grounding Therapy®, Post-Jungian thought, Yoga, Tantric teachings, Indigenous teachings and Native American Shamanism. More recently I have been inspired by the new developments within Interpersonal Neurobiology and Neuroscience.
I am passionate about re-connecting men and women to their natural power and beauty and their innate potentials for living wholehearted and passionate lives, enjoying loving and deeply fulfilling lives and relationships. When not in London or working abroad, I live close to nature in the deep south of France, learning how to grow plants and vegetables and live a sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle, while enjoying family, friends and animals and time alone to write.

My first book “Sex, Love and the Dangers of Intimacy – a Guide to Passionate Relationships when The ‘Honeymoon’ is over”, co-authored with my husband, was published by HarperCollins in 2002, re-published in 2010 by Lone Arrow Press and translated into several languages.

I am currently working on the follow-up book that will explore the connection between love and sex and men and women’s masculine and feminine qualities- and what happens emotionally, psychologically and spiritually when men and women fall in love and how we can embrace these life force energies to develop our full human potentials.

N’hésitez pas à me contacter.

I hold a space for preteen girls to come with their innocence and curiosity. We meet in my home once a month for a year, in a secure and joyful environment where they can be themselves and address all that is important for them. In Girls Journeying Together groups I help today’s girls to approach puberty prepared, strong and with a team of good friends to go through this important transition in their life.

Mothers will also be part of this journey, building an even stronger connection with your daughter which will support you both through her teenage years. You will be able to help her to see, to develop and value the precious power she carries within herself, as a potential today and which will blossom soon.

I am a mother of three children. I have lived in several countries, was trained as a podiatrist and worked as a painter in a museum, responsible for a European French Certificate in Sweden and founder and responsible for an association Cœur vers Corps in France. I love to sculpt and paint, climb and ski, swim and walk. Creativity in all its forms is at the center of my life and I am enthusiastic to bring this to my work with Rites for Girls.

Welcome on board, the journey is safe and joyful. I am here for you and your daughter, contact me.
