Girls Journeying Together Facilitator

Town: Canterbury, UK
Girls Journeying Together groups: Canterbury, Kent

I live in Canterbury with my partner and have recently graduated from Christ Church university with a master’s degree in Myth, Cosmology and the Sacred. The topic of my dissertation and research is menstruation, menstrual rites and an enquiry into the growing trend towards menstrual suppression in teenage girls and young women.

I love being in nature and often spend time walking in the local woodlands or enjoying the river Stour. I work part time for a local charity who support women.

My own transition into woman hood was not easy and I have been on a long journey to discover my authenticity and well-being. It would have made a real difference in my life if I’d had a mentor or guide to help me through some of the trials of transitioning into adulthood. I offer that support for girls in the Kent area, hopefully enriching their experience and helping them to become integrated and healthy young women.
